Jenna Alimberti - Owner/Director
Jenna is the Owner/Director of Dick Barker School of Dance. She was a student of the studio for over thirty years training in tap, jazz, ballet, pointe, hip hop and contemporary. She became an Assistant in 1996, a Teacher/Choreographer in 2003, and Assistant Director in 2011. She graduated from Mount Holyoke College with a degree in Chemistry in 2005 where she studied many dance forms. She attends yearly dance workshops in New York City, taking master classes with professional choreographers. Jenna has also trained at the Massachusetts Academy of Ballet in Holyoke in their summer program. In addition to being a dance teacher, Jenna also works at the Worcester Police Department as the Lab Director of the Latent Print Unit and is a licensed Zumba instructor.
Casey Banville - Teacher/Choreographer
Casey Banville began her dance journey at Dick Barker School of Dance in 2004 where she trained in jazz. In college, she also trained in ballet, tap, hip hop, modern, and musical theatre and performed in many shows including Legally Blonde, Catch Me if You Can, and Wonderful Town. She gained experience in teaching through classes at her school and becoming a Teacher’s Assistant at the Boston Ballet. She graduated with her degree in Musical Theatre in 2021 from Dean College, and she still stays active in the local theatre community.
Ana Brown - Zumba Instructor
Ana joined our dance family in 1994 taking classes in tap, jazz, ballet and hip hop. In 2018 she became a licensed Zumba instructor after finding her passion for the workout! Ana also is a Certified Nursing Assistant and specializes in Home Care Services.
Deborah Bednarz - Administrative Assistant
Deb is the Hostess with the Mostess at Dick Barker! She was a student herself for over twenty years and began teaching in 1978. She took over as owner/director in 1988 from her teacher, Dick Barker. Deb brought her dancers to many community service events, including Fitness Day at Paul R. Baird Middle School, Week of the Young Child at East Street School, the Ludlow Senior Center, and various benefits across the state. Deb retired as the owner in 2018 but remains part of the family as the Administrative Assistant.
Patricia Doty - Administrative Assistant
Patricia has been a dance mom (Miss Jenna's!) of the studio for over thirty years. Patricia joined our staff as an administrative assistant in 2018. She is a retired reading specialist who enjoys cooking, working out, and traveling.
